I am Nico, a 26-years-old ethical hacker from Germany, and I have been interested in computers for as long as I can remember.
I taught myself programming C++ when I was 12 years old, and became interested in IT security the exact moment I encountered my first runtime error. I then dived deep into the world of offensive security and penetration testing, began to hack around with open source software, learned about reverse engineering and started to participate in CTFs.
Today, I am working as a student assistant at the Institute of IT-Security at the university of Hannover, while also studying computer science there. Also, I am independent software developer and IT-security consultant.
I like to visit many cybersecurity events and invest a lot of my free time into honing my pentesting skills, as staying ahead is very important in this ever-evolving industry.
